Personal trainer Sara Haley showed us that you don't have to leave the shore to get in shape. She taught us the beach towel workout.
• Tip Toe Runs: works core, calves, quads and heart
• Moving Tree: works core, upper back and gluts
• Hippity Hop: works outer thighs, core and heart
• Tricep Pulse: works triceps and back

Hi Sarah-
Great ideas with the beach towel.
Another exercise that a towel is GREAT for is pullups.
All you need to do is roll it up into a tight roll, throw it over a sturdy object like a branch, beam, etc. and pull up!
If that is too hard, try draping it around a vertical post for an easier rowing-type movement.
Thanks again for your post. I will have to add in those hops to my next workout to get the old heartrate going!
