Lachi Paves Way For New Generation Of Blind Artists
Lachi is a singer, songwriter, pianist and author based in New York City. Her music is often described as jazz influenced, piano driven alternative rock.
Lachi is also legally blind. Now a leading advocate for blind musicians in and around New York City, Lachi performs with a very talented band of all blind musicians (Andre Donatien on guitar, Jaime Diaz on bass and Jimmy Fontanez on drums).
This morning she performed a song from her self-titled album Lachi, which will be available in stores on July 27.
