So sorry to hear about your daughter. You may not be aware, but anyone that registers goes into a national databank for all people young and old who need a transplant. You only receive a transplant if there is a match, not if you are privileged. Hopefully, your daughter will benefit from Shannon's notariety that has caused a lot of awareness, as well as many others. It is great that you are doing this call. It is unfortunate though that there are so many other children and adults, who are in a Broadway show, or they are not famous...whose voice is not heard but they need help as well. It is very fair to do it for just one child. Hope that all these swabs are use to help donate bone marrow to other people in need, and not just for this one child.

Because of your potential in spreading the word, and getting such positive response, why don't you do this type of calls for other things like: organ transplants: libber, heart, etc... And other things?

I watch you every morning, I love your show and I applauded what you do, but don't cut it short and open it to many other possibilities of things that you can do and achieve, you can!!!
