Parents: Get In The Know Of Drug Slang

text0727.jpg

Recently, the American Society of Anesthesiologists issued a set a guidelines for parents to help them recognize the signs of "robo-tripping," the abuse of over the counter medications. For example, has your child undergone a sudden change in appearance? What about a change in friends and activities?

And parents, if you saw these phrases "g2g p911 and i'm :#)" on your child's cell phone, would you know what they meant?

If you don't, the organization The Partnership for a Drug-Free America can help. They're offering answers to these questions.. As well as a "drug slang" guide to help parents recognize the names for many popular over the counter medications. Visit their site.

By the way, "g2g p911 and i'm :#)" translates to "got to go parent alert and i'm wasted"
