Too Hot For Citibank?

A Queens woman says she was fired from a Manhattan bank for being too hot.

According to reports out this morning, Debrahlee Lorenzana, filed a lawsuit against Citibank claiming she was the victim of a hostile work environment simply because of the way she dressed on the job.

The 33-year old woman says she was told by her bosses to tone down her wardrobe including turtlenecks, pencil skirts, fitted suits and heels.

According to Lorenzana she was tel go in August 2009 with poor job performance being the reason why.

She is suing for lost wages and emotional distress.

If she was warned...she should have listened. Men are pigs and are too distracted to do business if a woman is too curvy and wears tight clothes. She should HAVE BEEN PROFESSIONAL... PERIOD!! Wear clothes that are flattering but not tight.

Women have more freedom when it comes to attire in the workplace. This woman looked business appropriate. She is attractive and stylish in her choice of clothing. The situation says more about the minds of the people who reprimanded her and forced her out her position then her fashion sense. I hope she wins the lawsuit and then tells us all where she shops!

So I guess if jill nicolini was to work at this bank she would be going through the same thing ?

Who wants to work with sluts or former playboy models? It's inappropriate for the workplace and if you are a professional you should dress like one.

The same thing happened to me in 2008. It was not for wearing the clothes, it was because of my religion and my age. I have been looking for an attorney that would not be afraid go against a large pharmaceutical company. If you would please help me obtaining such a firm, I would be more than appreciative for your help. I only have two months to file my case.

It didn't seem like she spoke English very well.
And she had a suspicious amount of photos taken in her "business attire". Check out the Village Voice to see what I mean.
