Ken Griffey, Sr. Talks About Prostate Cancer Awareness

Proud father to MLB star Ken Griffey, Jr., Griffey, Sr. is a MLB legend himself. He stopped by to discuss his thoughts on all the current baseball happenings, his son's recent retirement announcement and early detection for prostate cancer.
This summer marks four years since Griffey was diagnosed with prostate cancer, and it has become his mission to educate men about the importance of prostate health. His mission starts at home, and he is diligent in speaking with sons Ken Jr., and Craig frequently about the increased risk they face being African-American and having a long family history of the disease.
To help educate men across the U.S., Griffey has teamed up with Kimberly-Clark Corp. and its Depend brand for a four-month campaign called “The Depend Campaign to End Prostate Cancer.” It's a four-month long initiative aimed at informing men about the risks of prostate cancer and the importance of early detection.
