Kelloggs Told To Get Real

Kellogg's is ordered to get real about it's Rice Krispies cereal.
The Federal Trade Commission has taken on the cereal giant. Kellogg's has agreed to advertising restrictions regarding its claims about the supposed health benefits of their Rice Krispies cereal.
Last year, the company introduced packaging that claimed Rice Krispies "helps support your child's immunity". This move comes as public health researchers and obesity opponents have stepped up their challenges to the advertising of sugary foods.
This is not the first time that Kellogg's has had to back down on it's advertising.
Last July, the company came under fire for exaggerated claims that their Frosted Mini-Wheats cereal improved kids' attentiveness by nearly 20-percent.
