High Potassium can be dangerous

Potassium is an essential element that's necessary for proper functioning of your nerves, muscles and especially your heart. Your body keeps it closely regulated in proper balance. You blood level of potassium shouldn't be higher than 6. If it's too high, it can cause problems with your heart and can be fatal. There are many different medical problems that can cause high potassium. Some common ones include kidney problems, diabetes, alcoholism, burns, and muscle breakdown. But potassium can also be falsely elevated if the blood cells from the sample are ruptured. There are many different treatments available to lower potassium but they depend on how high the level is. The treatments are administered by doctors. It's not something you can do on your own.

It was only a few years ago at a K.C. Royals/Chicago White Sox game when a father and son jumped out of the stands and pummeled a coach on the first base line during the game !! I have chased many drunk/disorderly fans on the field during yankee games and can tell you it is impossible to know what their motives are at the time. Most are just drunk looking for a few seconds of fame. Unfortunatly Police and security MUST act quickly to stop these people not knowing what their motives are. Wait to long and if a weapon is produced serious injury or death may result. Ask Monica Seles !! People who run on the field are commiting a crime and non-lethal devices are appropriate. When a player gets assaulted then all the Monday morning QB's will ask "why didnt the Police stop them" He was a jerk and the Police acted appropriatly
