The popularity of digital cameras and smartphones means that anyone can be a photographer. That demoncracy of art is the idea behind Amanda Schmitt's new photo project, "mobile Uploads," which goes on view tonight from 7pm - 12am.

The exhibit, which will change monthly, features photographs taken by a variety of contributors across the globe; the selection is curated by Schmitt and features images that are both mundane and beautiful.
