Questions For Dr. Steve On Childhood Obesity
On Thursday, the PIX Morning News will be covering a story on Childhood Obesity.
About 32-percent of children and adolescents today - 25 million kids - are obese, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. To help battle this growing statistic First Lady Michelle Obama launched her "Let's Move" campaign, earlier this year.

I have a 10yr. old daughter whose obese. Obesity and Diabetes runs on her dad's side of the family. I've tried exercising with her, limit her food portions, I don't give her soda and limit her juice intake, etc. None of that has worked. How do I get her on track to losing weight?

I want to make Dr. Steve aware of a very important independent film called "Lbs."which has been playing in NYC for two weeks now. "Lbs." tackles the issue of obesity in a way no other film has - - ever. Every major reviewer has raved (or nearly so) about this very special film.
