Loni Love Is 'America's Sister' In New Stand-Up Special

Actress, comedian and celebrity host Loni Love stopped by to talk about her new one-hour special, "Loni Love: America's Sister," which will premiere on Comedy Central next month on May 15. (the DVD will release in June by Image).

Named by Variety as “One of the top 10 comics to watch,” Loni Love has taken stand-up comedy to new heights. As a regular panelist on E!'s hit late night show Chelsea Lately, Loni has quickly emerged as a comic force to be reckoned with. Her passion for making people laugh and ability to relate to the audience has catapulted her into comedic stardom. When not busy traveling the globe on her national “Love Train” comedy tour, Love hosts E!'s Wildest TV Show Moments, and recurs as a panelist on truTV’s The Smoking Gun Presents: The World’s Dumbest.

Love's many television appearances include The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, The Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn, The Best Damn Sports Show Period, VH1's I Love the 70's/80's/90's, Vh1's The Great Debate and Comics Unleashed among numerous others.

Love has enjoyed a recurring role on the Nickelodeon show Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide as well as guest starring roles on UPN's Girlfriends and the CBS sitcom Worst Week. She has also been a guest host on GSN Live, as well as a correspondent for The Dr. Oz Show. In 2009 Loni became a CNN correspondent for D.L. Hughley Breaks the News covering the inauguration of President Barak Obama. Most recently, Loni Love was the red carpet correspondent for the 2010 E! Oscar After Party.
