Jennifer Laura Thompson hits the Great White Way as Diana in "Lend Me A Tenor."
The Broadway start was last seen as Glinda in the hit show "Wicked," and prior to that she originated the role of Hope Cladwell in Urinetown, for which she received a Tony nomination for Best Leading Actress.
"Lend Me A Tenor" is being directed by actor Stanley Tucci and it's a show that takes place on September 8th, 1934. Cleveland’s premiere opera producer is on the verge of a nervous breakdown. The tickets are sold, the stage is set, and the thirty-piece orchestra is ready. But, it’s about to become un disastro gigantesco, because it’s three minutes to curtain, and the leading man - the greatest tenor in the world - has gone missing!
