HARO's Peter Shankman For NYC Entreprenuer Week

It is entrepreneur week in New York City. Thousands of people from across the nation are in the Big Apple to learn ways to start a new business or improve their already existing businesses, while helping the economy along the way.
Peter Shankman of Help A Reporter Out, HARO, stopped by the PIX 11 News to talk about how to be an entrepreneur.

His company, HARO, brings together reporters, bloggers and thousands of small businesses to help them tell their stories and promote their brands.

Shankman has 5 tips for up and coming entrepreneurs:
1. Love what you do. If you don't, all the hard work in the world won't matter.
2. Know that you're going to work 20x as hard as someone with a "regular" job.
3. Have multiple revenue streams!
4. Talk to everybody.
5. It's not about "How this helps me," but rather, "How can I help you?"
