Earth Day festivities Continue Through the Weekend!

Earth Day festivities continue through the weekend in Battery Park City!

New York's greenest celebrates the 40th anniversary of Earth Day with exciting activities for the whole family.

Now through Sunday, spokespersons and live demonstrations will be on hand for FREE! Besides film screenings, poetry readings, chalk drawings, everyone is encouraged to take advantage and appreciate the great outdoors.

There are several companies involved in putting this together: Arts World Financial Center, Mercy Corps Action Center, Poet's House and the Skyscraper Museum, and many more.

The events take place at Battery Park City, located at the southwestern tip of lower Manhattan right here in the city.
