Cyber Dating Safety Rules

Over 40 million Americans have visited online dating sites. That's approximately half of the country's single population. And while there are many successful love stories. There are also horror stories. Cyber Dating Expert Julie Spira stopped by with online safety rules to live by. They included:
• Never Give Out Your Last Name
• Never Give Out Your Address
• Never Talk About Money
• Always Meet In A Public Place
• Use the "Buddy System" (Telling a Friend Where You'll Be and Who You'll Be With)
• If You're Uncomfortable, Get Up and Leave

About 12 years ago my dear friend had her first date with a guy she met on line. One of her friends and her husband were @ the bar in the restaurant where they met. I was with another girl friend at a table near them. Then my friend saw another co-worker of ours who was there coincidently. He asked my friend "Is everyone in here a plant?"
They have now been married 10 years. She adopted his son who is now 19.
Also, if you feel like you are being pushed for information by someone you have met online, terminate the relationship.
