Local Resident Is Finalist In 'Create Dunkin's Next Donut Contest'

Dunkin' Donuts announced that Stefanie Schwalb of New York City is one of 12 finalists for the Create Dunkin's Next Donut Contest. Her "Much A Do About Nut Things" will battle 11 other donuts for the $12,000 grand prize and bragging rights. She recently lost her job as a music magazine editor in November and is currently freelancing.
Many of Stefanie's friends say she is the worst cook, so it would be doubly interesting if she were able to pull off the win in this contest. She will be at the Bakeoff on May 6th in Boston, with the winner announced on National Donut Day on June 4th.
