April 17th Is Secure Your I.D. Day
It's time to secure your identity and shed the past.
Tomorrow, April 17th, is Secure Your I.D. Day. The Better Business Bureau is setting up 55 locations across the country where people can shred documents. You can bring pay stubs, canceled checks, credit card bills, ATM receipts, tax forms and anything else with your personal information on it that you want to get rid of safely. The idea is to do a one-stop check of your personal data and a spring cleaning of all that paper work you no longer need.
After last year's event, the Better Business Bureau collected eight tons of shredded paper in just two hours.

This was probably one of the funniest moments I've had at work ever. The fact that we were telling our boss about these ridiculous story ideas and he didn't go crazy...just made it insanely humorous. I especially enjoy how he tried to remain composed throughout the whole ordeal. It leaves me wondering "who punk'd who."
