My husband Ryan and I got married in Floriday on August 28th of 2009. We did most of the planning online, dealing with vendors. For the most part everything went well, the weather was nice, the venue was beautifully decorated, the wedding went pretty smoothly..except for one thing.. my limosines never showed! That was the most embarrasing and frustrating moment for me. The limo company never answered my calls,my wedding was ruined! We were staying at the Hilton, and thank god they had a shuttle van. They were really nice about the situation and provided it within the first 10 minutes of hearing of my situation. So dressed in my beautiful pickup wedding gown, along with my bridal party and mom, we made our way to the ceremony...after my husband and his party went of course. It wasn't the way I dreamt of arriving to the wedding ceremony, but atleast I got there. We made it about 45 minutes late to the ceremony, and everything got pushed back, we lost an hour and a half with photographers and videographers,we had to cut the speeches, the food was cold, there was no time for dessert and it all went to waste. I never even had a chance to take my wedding top home :(. Despite spending so much money on my limosines... and not being reimbursed.. atleast I got married!

I'm getting married in June! My maid of honor was dating one of my fiancées friends/ fraternity brother. He broke up with her on valentines day & she is taking it really bad! His reason for breaking up was because he was confused and she can't accept that reason! They are both in our wedding party & I feel like I can't be happy because my maid of honor is depressed about her breakup. What do I do to help?!!

We had a February Wedding and had 18'' of snow.

We had 66 of the 93 guests come to the reception and then flee after eating. And then we were stuck at the hotel with our family for 2 days then stuck 2 days at my parents house before we could leave on our honeymoon!

It all worked out, we had an awesome time!
Needless to say we don't recommend winter weddings!

Well, my wedding day story...fisrt my husband was drunk before we got to the altar (thank god we had already married, long story). Then, at the start of the reception, my family had a blow out and I had to actually yell at everyone and told them to shape up or leave. Last, After paying for my flowers and the arrangements thereof, Once the wedding service was done, the flower company decided not to honor tohe contract. At first, it was bad enough that what I had paid for I did not get (IE: wristbands were crosages instead. not all the flowers were what I paid for either). However, the company was supposed to transport the flowers and everything to the reception hall. Turned out, we had to do that. On my day I had to worry about making sure things were setup correctly after paying for it to be done.

My husband and I got married on dec 2 2005. We had a small wedding at city hall it was all set we got up got dressed and went to city hall. Our families were all there and waiting. Long story short it was almost time to say I do when we realized no rings!!!!! we left them on my dresser. Needless to say my husband went back home got the ring and we lived happily ever after.

WHILE TAKING MY VOWS DURING MY MARRIAGE CERMONEY, MY HUSBAND TO BE (now my Ex.) said
" I michael ______ using my last name.take you
cindy" or my lawful wife".
THEN AT ONE POINT I STARTED CRYING AND MY ONE FALSE EYELASH SLOWLY WENT DOWN MY CHEEK, STOPPING THE PRIEST FOR A FEW MOMENTS TILL HE REACHED AND TOOK IT OFF MY FACE AND HANDED IT TO ME.
DURING THE RECEPTION I HAD A 103 DEGREE TEMPERATURE AND THE PERSON I GAME MY EYE GLASSES TO HOLD LOST THEM AND FOR THE ENTIRE DAY I FELT I WENT THROUGH MY IMPORTANT DAY BLIND... hint hint hint to what my married life wa going to be.

On my wedding day, there was two grooms with the same name-my husband and the other groom. There was a huge mix up with the Dj's. Our Dj put his equipment in the wrong location.......this took about 45 minutes.....isn't it the bride that's supposed to be late? The funny thing is I was waiting in the limo for the Dj to move his equipment, so he begin the music. Once everything was situated, we had a wonderful time.

When I got married, we "eloped" with my bff as my maid of honor and my 9 yr old son as witnesses. We get to the JOP and he was like a blurting advertising billboard. "You need a good DJ? I got a great DJ for you, just tell him I sentcha. If you need a hall, I can make a call for you, I know a great hall for cheap. You need a photographer? My friend takes great shots and he's cheap." Needless to say, after 15 minutes of commercials, our wedding continued (for only 20 months!) but we remain friends for the sake of both our boys and still laugh about it to this day.
