Kids Vie For 'Most Creative Peanut Butter Sandwich' Title

It's the 8th annual Jif's Most Creative Peanut Butter Sandwich Contest and and this year, more than 15,000 people helped pick the five finalists in an online vote. Today a winner will be crowned, receiving a $25,000 college scholarship! But, before they hit the judges' table, we get to taste their nutty concoctions ourselves!

Chickenchita: Stephanie Hosko, 10, Plymouth, MI
Stephanie is a fifth grade student at All Saints Catholic School in Canton, MI where her favorite subjects are science, art and gym. Stephanie is a registered United States Figure Skating Association member and part of the Westland Figure Skating Club. Stephanie created the "CHICKENCHITA" for the Eighth Annual Jif® Most Creative Peanut Butter Sandwich Contest™ by combining her favorite foods: chicken and Peanut Butter.

More Rockin' Moroccan Peanutty Pitas: West Mylroie, 7, Santa Clara, Utah
Inspired by his love of spicy food, West made his peanutty pitas by combining hummus, paprika and Peanut Butter. In addition to rolling up his sleeves to help make dinner, West loves science, especially when there are hands-on experiments involved. Besides cooking, West loves to fence, play the violin, read, swim and play video games.

Rachel attends Red Bank Elementary in Clovis, CA where she enjoys studying science and art. Rachel enjoys hanging out with her friends, play volleyball, roller blade, and swim in the summer. Rachel loves spending time with her family, including time in the kitchen. Her favorite cuisines are Mexican and Italian, but her favorite snack is peanut butter.

Peanut Butter and Banana Quesadilla with Fresh Fruit Salsa: Lauren Wright, 10Waukesha, WI
Lauren is a fifth-grade student at Horizon Elementary School in Pewaukee, WI where her favorite subjects are; Math, Science, Social Studies, Spanish, Art, Music, and Gym. Aside from the Peanut Butter and Banana Quesadilla, Lauren's favorite foods are; pizza, pears, ice cream, and apples. In her spare time Lauren enjoys playing soccer, gymnastics, volleyball and track. Lauren loves animals and hopes to be a veterinarian when she grows up.

Peanutty Cristo Breakfast Sandwich:Maria Boucher, 11, East Longmeadow, MA
Maria is a high honors 6th grade student at Birchland Park Middle School in East Longmeadow, MA where her favorite subject is math. Her favorite foods are mashed potatoes and ice cream. In her free time she enjoys reading fiction and designing and decorating clothes, rooms and jewelry from sea glass.
