Newark Firefighters Pipes & Drums Perform Traditional Irish Music

Firefighter representing Newark Firefighters Pipes & Drums were in traditional kilt attire in PIX studio today to help us celebrate St. Patrick’s Day by playing Irish music and by delivering an important message of how everyone in our area can best share the luck of the Irish on St. Patrick’s Day.
For 56 years, members of the International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF) have been raising money to help MDA advance worldwide research seeking treatments and cures for muscle diseases.
IAFF members want to also give a shout of thanks to the hundreds of thousands of New Yorkers who are buying and signing Shamrocks for posting in retail stores and restaurants (see attached release with Nevada location list); who are texting IRISH to 2022 to make $5 contributions by phone and also receiving a link to cool Shamrock wall paper for their cell phones.
