It's National Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month!
Colorectal cancer the second leading cause of cancer related deaths in men and women in the United States. March is National Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month and here to explain more about the disease is Dr. Jose Guilliem from Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.
Dr. Guilliem said the warning signs/symptoms of colorectal cancer includes:
• A change in your bowel habits, including diarrhea or constipation
• Rectal bleeding or blood in your stool
• Persistent abdominal discomfort
• Weakness or fatigue
• Unexplained weight loss
