Brooklyn's WAKEY!WAKEY! To Be Featured On CW's 'One Tree Hill'
Brooklyn-based indie band WAKEY!WAKEY! stopped by the studio this morning to perform their hit singles "Almost Everything" and "Twenty-Two" from album Almost Everything I Wish I'd Said The Last Time I Saw You.
WAKEY!WAKEY! is Michael Grubbs (piano, mojo, vocals), Anne Lieberwirth (bass), Tanya Buziak (backing vocals), Patrick Doane (violin), Jake Hertzog (guitar) and Max Tucker (drums).
Lead singer Michael Grubbs plays a character with the same name on the hit show CW One Tree Hill. He and WAKEY!WAKEY! will be returning to the show for tonight's episode, airing at 8pm on WPIX.
