James Van Der Beek To Show 'Mercy' In New Role
You remember him as the title character from Dawson’s Creek. Now CW veteran James Van Der Beek has a new role on the new hit series Mercy.
Since Dawson’s Creek, Van Der Beek has had guest appearances on shows such as Ugly Betty, Criminal Minds and How I Met Your Mother. He then returned to the CW for a role on One Tree Hill, which was filmed in the same town as Dawson's Creek.
Now James will be returning to television in his new role as Dr. Joe Briggs on NBC's Mercy, whose stars include Taylor Schilling, Michelle Trachtenberg, Jaime Lee Kirchner.
Van Der Beek will also be starring in the new film Formosa Betrayed, which opens on February 26 and The Big Bang due out in 2010.
