food0210.jpg

Shape Magazine takes viewers through 10 foods that make people feel sexy and help balance the sex hormones in so it increases their sex drive this Valentine's Day. Sharion Liao stopped by to show us the foods that will increase your mojo:

• Salmon: It's high in omega-3s, which helps improve circulation-and that can lead to better sex.

• Bananas: This fruit is high in B vitamins, which may help the body manufacture sex hormones like testosterone.

• Dark Chocolate: This sweet treat increases levels of feel-good endorphins like serotonin and provides a small dose of stimulating caffeine. In fact, a study in The Journal of Sexual Medicine found that those who consumed chocolate daily reported having more desire and better overall sexual function than those who didn't eat it.

• Oatmeal: This breakfast staple is high in arginine, an amino acid that increases the production of nitric oxide, which causes blood vessels in the genitals to expand-that translates to more frequent and better orgasms.

• Nutmeg: This spice stimulates the parasympathetic nervous system, helping you relax and get in the mood. Try sprinkling it on a latte or hot chocolate.

• Asparagus: It's a top source of folate, a B vitamin that increases the production of histamine, which play an essential role in sex drive. .

• Edamame: Soy contains isoflavones, which help the vaginal area remain lubricated.

• Honey: Honey contains boron, which helps the body use estrogen, which helps improve blood flow and arousal.

• Garlic: Garlic contains allicin, an ingredient that increases blood flow to sexual organs.
