You can stretch your feet out before you get out of bed and it will help diminish the heel pain by about 40%. Use a belt and pull the top of the foot up and hold for a few seconds to stretch it out. It does help a lot. my podatrist gave me that advise and you can ice it and roll your foot on a can-- i know it's weird, but it helps.
