What Would You Do On 'The Last Day of My Life'?

lastday0107.jpg

So often in his career, Jim Moret, chief correspondent for Inside Edition, reports on the last day of someone else's life, such as Michael Jackson or Patrick Swayze. When faced with the question of his own last day, however, what would he want to be remembered for? What would you want your legacy to be?

Moret asked himself these questions after contemplating suicide on April 16, 2008. Now, in his new book The Last Day of My Life, he challenges all of us consider the meaning of our own existences.

He says every morning he recites a "power list" he calls the 10 C's. They stand for: calm, cool, connected, compassionate, charming, creative, comical, curious, confident and centered.

The Last Day of My Life is available in bookstores now. Inside Edition airs seven days a week at 6pm on WPIX.
