A better way to ask this question would be: Who makes more money in your household, the husband or the wife? I am a wife who makes more money than her husband, so both of these answers are wrong for me.

My fiance brings home the money for now. But, I will be going back to school witin the next two months, so that all will not fall on him.

Of course the women are ahead in the poll. All the men are out working while the women are home eating bon bons watching TV!!!

My husband is wonderful and yes I may make more money, but we work together as a family unit and that is not an issue. My husband cooks, cleans, does laundrey, grocery shops, fixs the cars, gardens, does the outside work, the painting, you name it he does it and attends every event and always has. We know many people with money who are not happy in reality. My husband also does all the handy work at home, between remodeling the kitchen and today he has to fix the washer. He is a wonderful devoted father and we spend many weeks on family vacations and although we may have debt, we work together on all problems and when my bank account runs low, he never ocomplains when I need money from him or vice versa. I think a woman should be able to support herself in any event because you never know where life will take you. My opinion however is do not worry about the money so much a man makes, worry about the man. Key factors, yes he works hard and is not hanging on the couch asking you to hand him a beer. Also make sure he has lived alone and can take care of himself, not by hiring people out, but by actually taking care of himself.
