He should be banned. The only reason he admitted it is because of the new job. Steroids are for FOOTBALL not baseball.

The Hall of Fame needs to leave it up to the voters. If Mark McGwire is categorically excluded from Hall of Fame consideration, then players like Alex Rodriguez, Roger Clemens and Barry Bonds, to name three, should also be disqualified from consideration. Let the baseball writers who vote on the Hall of Fame decide.
