How NYC's Less Salt Initative Affects Your Diet

After giving trans fats the heave-ho, health advocates are now tackling another health concern -- too much salt. There are plans to lower the sodium at some of your favorite restaurants. Here talk about the proposed changes are the Nutrition Twins Tammy and Lyssie Lakatos.
Hamburger: market share 403mg, 380mg by 2012, and 330 by 2014
French Fries: market share 347mg, 340mg by 2012, 260mg by 2014
Pizza: market share 530mg, 460mg by 2012, 390mg
Burritos: market share 601mg, 510 by 2012, 450 by 2014
Their book The Secret to Skinny: How Salt Makes You Fat and The Four Week Plan to Drop a Size and Get Healthier is currently in bookstores.
