Guardian Angel Curtis Sliwa Is 'The Talk Of New York'
Founder and leader of The Guardian Angels stopped by the studio to talk about his new radio show on WMCA called "The Talk Of New York."
Silwa was born to a Polish-Italian Catholic family in Canarsie, Brooklyn and is known for his activism with the New York City community. "His powerful, uplifting messages of overcoming fear and adversity to achieve self-reliance and contribute to one’s community take on important new relevance in corporate and institutional environments," says Silwa's official website.
Curtis Silwa has been a conservative radio host for 18 years and was the host of WABC News/Talk Radio’s The Curtis Sliwa Show before jumpping ship to WMCA.
"The Talk Of New York" with Curtis Sliwa kicks off Monday morning on WMCA AM-970.

don't think he's on WMCA - which is AM570... Try WNYM
Curtis Sliwa is attempting to bring a high profile talk voice to WMCA-AM 970. A well known voice at new station can only increase competition in the radio ratings game. Interesting to see how 970-AM does in the ratings compared to more established talk stations like WABC-AM 770. WABC has gone to national radio shows primarily. WMCA-AM is staying local. I always encourage the local approach to radio. I am not the biggest Curtis Sliwa fan, but I will check out his show and other shows on WMCA.
