Rebecca Budig Comes Back To 'All My Children'
Actress Rebecca Budig stopped by to talk about reprising her role as the troublemaker Greenlee Smythe on the ABC soap opera All My Children.
"Rebecca originated the role of Greenlee in 1999, and continued to play the part until 2005. She returned to the show in 2008, and left earlier this year. When last seen, Greenlee was on a motorcycle in her wedding dress, on the way to a lesbian wedding (yes, we're serious) when her best friend Kendall ran her off the road! Her body was never found," says ABC.

Greenlee SMYHTE, not Smith. Yet another person points out her and Cam look like brother and sister. It shows! They have no heat there. Welcome back, Rebecca! Now can you have mercy on us and make sure Greenlee stays away from Ryan?
Greenlee was always a fun character but was ruined with the Green Butterfly Ryan worship. AMC would generate more viewer interest in bringing back a more "historically popular" character.
We all know that they are once again going to force a pairing with SpitMonkey Ryan and he will continue to destroy Greenlee just like he destroys every other character who is in his storylines.
If they want to make Greenlee work they need a Leo recast. (Too bad they didn't have the aforesight to cast Billy Miller in that role. He would have made the perfect Leo!) I am sure they could find another actor with the same spark that Leo had that played off Greenlee so well.
If they want we the viewers to become invested in Greenlee once again, they need to get her far away from Ryan otherwise, they may as well put her back in her wedding dress and black leather coat and send her off the first available cliff.
I thought when you and Josh kissed it looked like you both thought the other was pretty good at it. Passionate is right.
