How To Look Like A Natural Beauty

makeup1215.jpg

Depending on your ethnicity, you will have a different cosmetic need. There are little tricks you can learn to highlight your own beauty and enhance your best features. Celebrity Makeup Artist Sam Fine was here with tips:

African American Model - Skin
• AA women don't flush in traditional sense so using a bronzer in place of blush will bring warmth to the skin and look more natural
• Layer bronzer over foundation so it gives the face a subtle, natural glow; apply it to the outer perimeter of the face for a "halo of glow"

Asian Model (Cecily Kaya) - Eyes
• Asian women can really accentuate the eyes by opening them up using mascara and shadow
• A smoky lid are great for this eye shape but placement is key, as well as using shadows that are high in pigment
• Mascara and an eyelash curler are also key tools to help lengthen and curl the lashes to really open up the eye
• My favorite trick is to apply a thin coat of mascara and let it dry, then go back and curl the lashes and apply a few more coats to really build.

Caucasian Model (Tara Hall) - Brows
• A great way for a Caucasian woman to highlight their look is by focusing on brows
• A beautifully sculpted brow will really shape the face. A common mistake is to try to match the hair color - but brows don't need to match.
• You should always use a pencil one shade lighter then the brow color. Apply the pencil in short feather-like strokes so they mimic the appearance of hair
• Finish by appling loose powder over the liner to set it; body heat will warm the liner, powder keeps it in place throughout the day
