Model Doutzen Kroes Walks Her First 'Victoria's Secret Fashion Show'

There’s a new Victoria’s Secret Angel in town and her name is Doutzen Kroes. She stopped by to tell us about participating in her first Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.

The 23-year-old Kroes joins the likes of Heidi Klum and Adriana Lima, as well as past angels like Gisele Bundchen and Tyra Banks. Tonight's show will feature infused lingerie, musical performances, red carpet interviews, model profiles and a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the world's most celebrated fashion show.

Kroes said her career began when she scored a modeling contract after she sent her photos to an agency hoping to earn enough cash to buy more fashion magazines. Soon the 5′10" stunner was filling their pages.

Kroes has since made the covers of magazines like Seventeen, Vogue and Harper's Bazaar. She also appears regularly in the Victoria's Secret catalog and walked the runway of the company's fashion show in 2005, 2006 and 2008. Kroes' campaigns include Gucci, Escada and Dolce & Gabbana. In August 2005, she was named spokesmodel for the Calvin Klein "Eternity" fragrance campaign. In April 2006, she signed a three-year contract with L'Oréal Paris, Kroes can currently be seen in the company's commercials alongside Eva Longoria and Kerry Washington.
