Joel David Moore Talks About Starring In 'Avatar'
Actor Joel David Moore stopped by the studio to talk about his role as Norm Spellman in the new film from director James Cameron -- Avatar.
Avatar centers on a paraplegic ex-marine war veteran who’s sent to establish a human settlement on the distant planet of Pandora, only to find himself battling humankind alongside the planet's indigenous Na'vi race. Moore's co-stars include Sigourney Weaver, Sam Worthington and Michelle Rodriguez.
Born and raised in Portland, Oregon, Moore began his acting career in commercials. Later, he switched to TV shows (including CSI, Six Feet Under, Boston Public, House, and most recently as a graduate student on Bones) and films (including Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story, Hatchet and Grandma's Boy). Moore was also featured in the music video for Katy Perry's hit "Waking Up in Vegas."
