How To Determine Child-Safe Toys

The holidays are right around the corner and that means loads of new toys for your tots.
Those toys maybe fun- but are they safe? Our Allison Kaden takes us into her home to explore the risk of toxic toys.

I thought this segment was great. Very heartfelt and genuine. I really am thankful everyday for the sacrifices of our veterans and their families.
I am VERY disappointed in PIX Morning news... not for their coverage of this story, but for the overly sensational PREVIEWS of it. Last night while watching Channel 11, My wife and I were terrified by the prospect of "Toxic Toys" - presented in a preview featuring an extremely eerie version of "Ring Around the Rosy" and dark, menacing images. Meanwhile, the story delivered a mundane report of holiday shopping tips and warnings of potential choking hazards. In other words, stuff we already knew. We are new parents - very protective of our 1-year-old daughter - and the scare tactics you used were reprehensible. I have been a dedicated viewer of the PIX morning News for years. But unless you broadcast a public apology, I'm switching to Channel 2.
Iam so proud that wpix had Don Forman on this morning. It was an honor to see this vet. who put his life on the line along with so many others. We really have to honor these men and women for without them we would not be living in a free country.
