Serena Williams is a true Renaissance Woman. Her outside interests have allowed her to reach a bigger audience than just tennis enthusiasts. Her unsportmanship display during the U.S. Open is something that hurt her brand. She must continue to repair her image on and off the tennis court. Her charitable endeavors will help to mend this tarnished reputation.
Many have thought that her fashion and acting interests have curtailed her zest for tennis. Serena has continued to succeed on the court, but would she have won more tournaments if she was totally focused on tennis? Hard to say. Fodder for sports talk show hosts.
Soft interview. Very good for a feel good Morning Show.
