PIX Family Feast: Sukanya Krishnan & Louis Green

Thanksgiving is just two days away and from the PIX family to yours, we want to celebrate with you by sharing special family recipes.

Sukanya Krishnan and Louis Green, father of a PIX staffer, showed us how to make Macaroni and Four Chesse Casserole (see the recipe after the jump).

Louis’ Macaroni and Four Chesse Casserole
Ingredients
1 ½ cups grated extra sharp cheddar cheese
1 ½ cup grated sharp cheddar cheese
1 ½ cups grated monterey jack cheese
1 ¼ cup grated asiago cheese
1 ¾ stick of butter or margarine
1 cup of milk
½ cup of heavy cream
3 large eggs
2 cups uncooked elbow macaroni
½ cup italian flavored bread crumbs
¼ cup panko bread crumbs
2 teaspoons garlic powder (or to your taste)
1 teaspoon white pepper (or to your taste)
1 tablespoon paparika
6 quarts boiling water
1 tablespoon kosher salt
1 ½-2 quart baking dish
Large mixing bowl

Directions
• Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees
• Bring water to a rapid boil and add salt ,
• Once water has reached rapid boil add macaroni, let cook for 8 minutes
• Mix together eggs, heavy cream and milk
• Grease 1 ½ quart corningware casserole dish with pat of butter or margarine
• Drain macaroni throughly then place in a separate bowl
• Add butter/margarine, garlic, white pepper and blend together
• Add egg mixture
• Add italian-flavored bread crumbs
• Add 1 ½ cup extra sharp and sharp cheddar cheese, 1 ½ cup monterey jack cheese and 1 cup asiago cheese
• Mix all ingredients in bowl then add to greased casserole dish
• Spinkle panko bread crumbs and ¼ cup of asaigo cheese paparika on top of macaroni
• Place macaroni in oven
• Bake for 35 minutes

It might come in handy for someone in my situation, I'm expecting twins and my scheduled c-section is december 15 and I don't think I will be up to chossing a tree bit would love to have a natural tree for x-mas

i would rather go to target and get the tree sukanya said to get, plus i like to see what a tree looks like before purchasing one.
