Lisa Lisa Is Back With Album 'Life n' Love'

lisa1105.jpg

She's the '80s pop icon whose beats moved you from head to toe. With 29 years in the business Lisa Lisa has proven herself to be the queen of the latin hip-hop.

Our Lisa Mateo caught up with the singer to find out what she's been up to and talk about her new album Life n' Love, which is in stores now.

Lisa Lisa also gave us a tour of her old stomping ground of Manhattan's Hell's Kitchen. It's the place where she would get into trouble with her nine brothers and sisters and it was the place where at just 13-years-old, Lisa Velez would become Lisa Lisa.

You can meet Lisa Lisa in person when she performs tonight, November 5 at the Lord and Taylor on 5th Avenue for it's "Love At First Sight" fashion event from 6pm to 9pm. For more information, visit www.lordandtaylor.com.
You can also catch her at KTU's freestyle "Free For All" concert in Atlantic City on November 13th. For more information, visit www.ktu.com.

Lisa Lisa from Lisa Lisa and the Cult Jam. A musical blast from the past for sure. Our Lisa interviews Lisa Lisa. Good Luck on her new album, "Life n' Love."

Since we now know how Lisa Lisa got her name, is it safe to call Ms. Nicolini "Jill Jill"?
