Hula Hoop For Health

As Michelle Obama spectacularly demonstrated on the White House lawn during last month’s Healthy Kids Fair, hula hooping is a great source of exercise.
Betty Shurin (aka Betty Hoops), founder of Betty Hoops Dance Therapy® and Hoop Warriors Kids Program, and designer of the weighted, collapsible Dance Hoop and 4 Rhythm Hoop Dance Workout, will be in the New York City area conducting trainings during the month of November to inspire youth to get healthy and to have fun while doing it. Betty will be offering public hooping classes in Manhattan’s Central Park. She will also be visiting fire stations and police stations to donate hoops.
