Beaujolais Hippies Spread Love, Fight Hunger With Food Bank Of NY

Today is the official release of Georges Duboeuf Beaujolais Nouveau and the wine company is sharing the love.
People dressed as hippies will be delivering wine and collecting food for the Food Bank of New York throughout the city.
Festivities kick-off today with informal flower power "sit-ins" as wine-loving hippies travel around the city on the Georges Duboeuf Beaujolais Nouveau love bus to deliver cans of food and spread the word about the food drive.
You can pitch in too by dropping off food at participating locations such as 67 Wine & Spirits at Columbus Avenue at 68th street and Chelsea Wine Vault at Ninth Avenue and 16th Street.
The drive will take place now through Wednesday, November 25th. For a list of additional drop off points or to donate online, visit www.foodbanknyc.org.
