Air Force Members Talk About Veteran's Day
In 1948, President Harry Truman formed the Air Force Reserve. Originally intended as a "stand by" force in the case of an emergency, its purpose has evolved. Today over 67,000 men and women serve in the reserve. We were joined by seven members of the 514th Air Mobility Wing at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst in South Jersey stopped by the studio to talk about Veterans Day and their participation in the New York Veteran's Day parade.

It seems to me that this year Veterans Day is being recognized even more. Maybe in light of the recent tragedy at Ft. Hood, there is a more conscious effort to honor these very special veterans of the military. I think it is absolutely great. These are individuals who have protected our way of life through the years and should be honored each and every day.
Thank you to PIX Morning News in doing a wonderful segement to honor Veterans Day and promote the Veterans Day Parade.
Also, I see Tamsen Fadal was sporting a pair of black boots. In a subsequent segment, while interviewing Patricia Field,, she styles a pair of white boots. I challenge anyone to rock a pair of boots better than the lovely and talented Tamsen Fadal.
