Schooner Racing In NYC
Classic Harbor Line Yachts is letting Larry aboard the Adirondack, a gorgeous 80-feet classic-style yacht. He's at Chelsea Piers on Pier 62 at West 22nd Street.
It's all for NY Classic Week, four days of Classic Schooner races that include going around Governors Island, Verrazano Bridge and the Statue of Liberty. Races start at 12pm each day and the Schooners will be milling around all morning along the Hudson River and NY Harbor –America’s most historic waterway and national treasure. The best land viewing locations are at Battery Park and Liberty State Park in New Jersey.
Tickets are available to ride the Adirondack that leaves Chelsea Piers at 11am. For more information on the race and tickets for the Adirondack got to www.sail-nyc.com or call (212) 627-1825. If you mention "WB11", you'll get $15 off all tickets for the races and for the spectator yacht.
