Get Free Mammograms Around The City In The Scan Van

Miss USA Kristen Dalton is taking her cause-related work into her own hands by urging women to have free mammograms in Project Renewal's Scan Van.
Today, the Scan Van will be at the Jalbca Brooklyn Family Court and Supreme Court at 330 Jay Street in Brooklyn from 9am to 2pm.
The ScanVan is the nation's first mobile radiology clinic to provide both mammograms and chest x-rays to homeless and poor patients. The ScanVan meets two critical needs: serving poor and homeless women with little or no access to breast health services and screening for tuberculosis. The staff provides counseling, education, and initiates and ensures follow-up treatment for all positive screenings.
To get your free mammogram, you can also stop by PIX Plaza (42nd Street and 2nd Avenue) before 9am today. Women must be over 40 to get the free mammogram.
