Raven Symone Says 'Black Girl Rocks'

Actress/singer Raven Symone stopped by to talk about the Black Girls Rock Awards and how she feels to have successfully made it through the acting industry as a three-year-old child star to a young starlet. She also played "Guess That Childstar" with Suki and Tamsen.

Black Girls Rock's mission is to promote the arts and to encourage positive life-changing activity, critical thinking, and dialogue about the images of women in our present day culture. Black Girls Rock! seeks to build the self-esteem and self-worth of young women of color by changing their outlook on life, broadening their horizons, and helping them to empower themselves.
