Suzanne Somers has absolutley no right making an irresponsible comment like that. I think that she probably has problems putting a bandaid on. She does not come close to being a doctor. Just a dumb irresponsible comment.

i feel everyone has there own opinion on this matter. there are pros and cons to this issue. as a chemo nurse for 6 years im neutral. i do feel it is an extention of the final years ,months or days, personally i feel it is very hard on your family members and also yourself, just to delay the inevitable. those last few months are brutal, i would rather live, love and do all i can to keep a positive outlook, and when the time comes it comes, rather than lay in bed sick, nauseausand weak

I really do not think the big business of both pharmaceuticals and medicine wants to find an alternative treatment to or a cure for the disease.

There would be no profit in a cure that would end surgeries, hospitalizations and drug research and delivery for ever once a simple plant extract or dietary plan was found to accomplish the same thing, survival and wellness.

chemo saved my life - i was dianosed with breast cancer at 27 - suzanne should keep her mouth shut regarding issues she has no clue about

I am on the fence with this one. If Chemo is going to either cure or extend a persons life then I am for it. But if a person is not going to benefit from it then I say let it be.

I have seen friends and family who before having chemo, were sick but coherent. After having chemo becoming very ill, incoherent and pass rather quickley

Though I don't think chemo pointless, I do believe it's overused. My father was diagnosed with stage four liver and lung cancer in April of this year. He died in May after his first chemo treatment. Chemo can be effective for whose cancer is in earlier stages, but the chemo ultimately stripped my dad of any defenses he had left and led to a minor infection that killed him. He should have never been given the treatment as his cancer was so far advanced it was pointless...

Actors should stay acting
And leave the medical field
To the doctors.
