Chinese Opera Festival Presents A Halloween Spectacular At NYU

Qi Shu Fang Peking Opera Company presents the 9th Annual Peking Opera Festival - Halloween Spectacular, with special selected scenes from Peking Opera classics to celebrate Halloween.

It is a rare chance to celebrate Halloween with Chinese ghost and demons, and of course, the famous Monkey King. A magnificent evening of music, song, mime, glorious costumes, amazing martial arts, and acrobatics, with a cast of 50 plus actors and traditional Chinese orchestra will offer an unforgettable glimpse into ancient China. The performance will be in Chinese with English subtitles.

The 9th Annual Peking Opera Festival- Halloween Spectacular is on Saturday, October 31st at 7:30pm at the Skirball Center for the Performing Arts, NYU (part of the World Stage Series). Tickets are priced at $38. Students, seniors and people with disabilities tickets are available for $12.
