Michael McKeon Offers 'Superior Donuts' In New Broadway Play

Actor Michael McKeon stopped by the studio to talk about his role as Arthur Przybyszewski on the new Broadway show "Superior Donuts."
The play centers on Arthur (McKeon), who owns a dilapidated donut shop in Chicago. "France Wicks (Jon Michael Hill), a black teenager who is his only employee, wants to change the shop for the better. This comedy-drama, set in the heart of one of Chicago’s most diverse communities, explores the challenges of embracing the past and the redemptive power of friendship," says the plays official site.
McKeon is no stranger to Broadway and has appeared in "Harold Pinter’s The Homecoming," "The Pajama Game," "Hairspray" and "Accomplice." His TV credits include Laverne & Shirley, Saturday Night Live, Friends, The X Files, The Simpsons, Law & Order, Smallville, Alias and Boston Legal. His film credits include This Is Spinal Tap (which he also co-wrote), Clue, Coneheads, A Mighty Wind and Whatever Works.
"Superior Donuts" is playing at the Music Box Theatre (239 West 45th Street, between Broadway and 8th Avenue). For more tickets and showtimes, visit www.donutsonbroadway.com or call (212) 239-6200.
