Chef Mario Batali Talks About The NYC Wine And Food Festival

mario1008.jpg

Our Tamsen Fadal got the chance to spend a little one-on-one time with renown Chef Mario Batali -- as he took time out of the kitchen to give his first local TV interview to talk about how he's giving back to the youth of america.

The Mario Batali Foundation celebrated "Magic, Martinis and Mario" last night -- an event promoting the education and empowerment of children all over.

In addition to his 15 restaurants, TV shows and books, Batali, who currently resides in New York City, is adding actor to his resume this year. Aside from his hectic schedule, Batali says he's finally realized how to balance it all.

And Chef Mario Batali's next adventure? The New York City Wine and Food Festival, which kicks off tonight and runs through Sunday, October 11.

For more information and tickets to the New York Wine and Food Festival -- and how to meet Batali at the event -- log onto www.nycwineandfoodfestival.com.
