Joe Buck Wants You To "Stand Up To Cancer"

Joe Buck stopped by to ask everyone to "Hit It Here."

For several years Joe Buck has been the voice of Major League Baseball on FOX. Now, he has his own sports talk show on HBO----"Joe Buck Live". Buck is teaming up with "Stand Up To Cancer" to take a stand against the disease with his latest promotion "Hit It Here."

The sportscaster lost his father to lung caner in 2002, so he holds the charity "Stand Up To Cancer" close to his heart. For every home run hit by an MLB player during the 2009 MLB Playoffs, Mastercard will donate $1,000 to Stand Up to Cancer. In addition, if a player directly strikes a MasterCard "Hit it Here" sign in the stadium, MasterCard will donate $1 million to the worthy organization. The promotion is part of Major League Baseball's commitment to dedicating the 2009 All-Star Summer to raising funds and awareness for charitable initiatives and celebrating the importance of community service.
