"Get Paid to Play": A New Restaurant Concept, Picks Up The Cab Fare

covo1022.jpg

The ViVa (Viaduct Valley) Harlem Restaurant Owners Association launches a new program today called "Get Paid to Play."

Free car service from select areas of Manhattan, and for New Jersey and outer boroughs free gasoline, free tolls and free parking, when you wine and dine (minimum of $40 per person) at the ViVa restaurants - Covo (Italian), Pancho Gringo (Mexican) and Hudson River Café (Soul Latin).

Whatever you may fancy… a cozy night with a full bodied red wine and a brick oven pizza in Covo's rustic space, or the homemade guacamole and spicy Chile Con Carne washed down with an icy margarita at Pancho Gringo. Maybe it's a Friday night and you're in the mood for live Latin tunes while nibbling on Coconut Crusted Shrimp or Guava BBQ Ribs at Hudson River Cafe - whatever the case, ViVa has what you want seven days a week and will bring you to them.

Spanning from 125th Street to 138th Street along 12th Avenue, ViVa is an area in New York protected from the noise, traffic, crowds and concrete jungle, by the iconic Riverside Drive Viaduct, built in 1900. Unlike any other neighborhood on the island of Manhattan, in ViVa you find free parking, a spacious street bordered by grand stone walls and lush green parks, with views of the Hudson River and New Jersey Palisades. Encapsulated by the Viaducts' 26-spans of steel bays, ViVa takes the shape of a town plaza, with restaurants, parks, serenity and history.

From 5pm-11pm, seven days a week, High Class Corp, the exclusive car service of ViVa, will send a car (within Upper West Side, Spanish Harlem, Morningside Heights, Harlem, Hamilton Heights, Washington Heights, Fort George, Inwood) to pick up and drop off guests. If traveling from another borough or New Jersey, the restaurants will reimburse $10 for gas and tolls. Guests can make reservations for the car service by calling any of the three restaurants directly. The free services can be enjoyed when parties of two wine and dine, minimum of $40 per person.
